Chapter 3 is where we actually get into accounting! This chapter explains the accounting equation, what ASSETS, LIABILITIES, AND OWNER'S EQUITY are. These are the basics and fundamentals of accounting, so it is imperative that you know and understand the concepts from this chapter. Chapters 2 & 3
Chapter 2 is another chapter that you will go over on your own. It goes over business types, advantages/disadvantages of each type, GAAP, and how the accounting system works. Be sure to take good notes on the PowerPoint, complete your vocabulary as well as the chapter review in your packet.
